Mayen (DE)

Town in The Federal Republic of Germany, Population: 19 thousand, Signed Partner Treaty in 1994, exchange programms for town official delegations, making contacts and exchanging experience in slef-administration, education, culture and business. Members of Partnership are also children`s home, grammar school, voice choir Svatopluk, Children`s choir, Theatre of Moravian Slovakia, Museum of Moravian Slovakia, Tecchnical school of Arts, Sportsmen etc.

In September 16th - 19th both towns have commemorated the 10th anniversary of signing the Partner Treaty. The official delegation of Mayen visited Uh. Hradiste for this occasion and was welcomed with gala ceremony in Reduta. Guests also visited The Bata Canal and other sights and were welcomed in the Town Hall by the mayor of Uh. Hradiste.

Trencin (SK)

City in Slovakia, Population: 58 thousand, the date of signing the Partner Treaty unknown (70`s).Cooperation in exchanging experience in self-administration and administration, culture programs, exhibitons, both cities took part in Travel Trade Fairs in Zilina, sport matches.
